Lap records for GP4 2007?

Is there a hall of fame for GP4 best lap?

I'd like to compare my lap times so I know how much I need to improve my driving skills.

Last night I managed a 1:17.023 in Nurburgring only minutes before the real race. My brother managed a 1:17.3.

If there isn't a Hall Of Fame, I'll start one here.

You must prove your time with a screenshot & I will do the same if the thread takes off.

It will be split into difficulties to be fair on the ace drivers. Currently I am driving Amateur in the cockpit & need the driving line until I improve. For me all driving aids are used except steering & braking help, launch control & autoright car. Not sure how I'll ever manage to drive without traction control. Using Logitech Formula Yellow USB.

Nice idea, unfortunately beacuse everyone uses different releases of the tracks and physics/performance files it will be unfair .

The real player laptimes depends :

- Physics
- Track version (CC Line, Magic Data)
- Whether you use some GP4 Tweaker tweaks (like tyre wear)
- Whether you use V8 Torque GP4.exe or not

There are too much different parameters to compare anyone's lap. Or at least, you need to establish precise rules in order to have the exact same conditions for all players. That's the reason why most of the GP4 Championships (whether they are hotlaps or races contests) use out-of-box game (physics, tracks) with the official patch and GPxPatch, so that everbody can compare laptimes. Then, there are websites like [www.hotlaps.de] and [www.hotlapsf1.info] where you can find setups and laptimes made with the original game.

Careful, you would have made the same time in Rookie level, that's the CC Cars performance which is modified with the difficulty level, not player's performance.

Last year i did a 1m11:610 in the original game track of Nurburgring with original physics.
You can check this at www.hotlaps.de Gp4.

Very simple.

You install GP4 straight out of the box, you put patch 9.6, Gp4.exe 1.02 No Cd and Gpxpatch 3.91. And thats it. Theres nothing else to add.

After a search for GP4 hotlaps it appears the competitions don't do too well, thanks to the cheaters out there.

I use the original engine file for 2007 & simply use the 7 gear option for each track.

It'd be good if you could differentiate between modded & unmodded versions. There should be a server online that runs a thorough check of the players system before hotlapping begins.

I got 1:12.008 in F1 99 and old Nurburgring (PS1 game) :D But maybe the physics of that game aren't very realistic. My worst laptimes were like 1:16.xxx.
