About the tyres, having the rim texture mapped on the rim-covers won't work probably. The tyres switch from tex to tex, as in GP4 the tyre object is programmed to do so. Not the car objects. I haven't really tried it though, and I'll probably do anyway.
The only way to have Ferrari with covered rims and the other teams not would be a proper tyre shape with a surface for the rim, which is turned transparent for the other teams. But, as Enzo already pointed out, this would mean using 2 brands for BBS (one for common BBS and one for Ferrari)and one for OZ or Enkhei, sacrificing one of these two.

Well I'd go for Enzo's solution if theres no other good solution.

I have to ask Nik and Oggo will they models be part of some mods, if I dare to ask this question?
If will be then is posible to add one more rim in rim selector (like in some mods for CSM) because in some mods are posible to choose between 2D and 3 brends of 3D rims (BBS, Oz & Enkei). This will cause that all others teams have covered rear rims, but I think that is not problem because when choose (for example) ferrari steering wheel all others teams have the same, and rims too.
Maybe is too early to ask this question.

coz my 2dadvanced rims was designed in the same way , you can see two spokes in a same what we need to do is to insert a new layer of BBS with black background and map it to the rim_spoke object. Take my picture as a reference which is based on my prvious 2dadvanced rims.

Enzo's idea definitely makes sense... We just need someone to get it done!
About the car, Nic is fixing some things on the shape. We already have the damage faces done, so there would be "only" mapping and painting left. But I'd like to finish the first STR version first

you dont have to leave, but you just dont need to constantly ask people for releases or to be beta testers. everyone else wants the car as well, but most do not usually ask for releases

if you want to leave, then leave - but i dont really see any good reason for it...

I have nothing against you schumi_15 ,I just hope that people wouldn't ask release dates all the time ...for me it's always much nicer feeling to come here this forum some day and be suprised and see that some great car has been released then that I know that it will released for example 31st december 12 am.
