Hi,
I'm thinking of buying one of these, mainly for racesims such as GP4, rFactor, GTR2 and Netkarpro. I was wondering if someone here has this hardware?

See here for more info:

And here for the list of supported games: [www.matrox.com]

This looks great:

I've got one.

never tried it with GP4 as my installation is screwed up, but i now never run rfactor without it.

Very easy to use, doesnt hit performance too much either i would highly recommend it.

works great with flight sim 2004 too!

I recently bought this device with 3 iiyama 19" monitors and I have to say. I am never ever ever going back!!! It is truly stunning. With head tilt enabled, it's like a whole new game. You can see cars trying to edge past you, more of the stadiums, everything. Its hard to describe just how big a difference it makes.. I mean it runs in a resolution of 3840 x 1024 for chrissakes!

Oh my GOD! Those look amazing! Seriously, it doesn't hit performance that much?

I run it at 1280 x 1024 on one screen and can run it at 60fps. Over these three screens because of triple the amount of image displayed, the frame rate is 30fps -ish. The resolution is 3840x1024.

er, pc specs are am2 4600, geforce 8800gts, 2 gig corsair dominator ram, x-fi fatality soundcard, 3x Iiyama E1900s monitors 19";(2ms)and one matrox triple head to go box!

Bear in mind it is not a 1280x1024 image stretched over three screens - it is extra viewing area. If I turn the two side monitors off, that would be what I normally see. As I said, head tilt is amazing - truly awesome.

and also look at that renault in third picture. it's stretched too much.

check ur graphics settings and see how amazing graphics will be with 8800GTS.But nvidia can't beat ATi in colors fill rate when compared color quality. ATI tops in this field

Hi,
I bought the triplehead2go last month, it's really great in all sims!!

Some questions:
1) how do I enable head tilt option?
2) is it possible to move the windows start button to the left corner of the middle monitor?
3) is it possible to move the clock to the right corner of the middle monitor?
4) is it possible that new windows open be default in the middle monitor?

Thanks, JeDa

as for the other stuff, head on over to [www.widescreengamingforum.com]
and post there. The answer to question 4 is definately yes...

on my laptop i have a slot for a monitor - i have plugged one in and currently using extended desktop.

Is there a way to make gp4 run widescreen on these 2 screens even without that 'Matrox Triplehead2Go'

Hi,
You can play GP4 in widescreen by changing the resolution in the f1graphics.cfg file.

Have you configured your windows desktop in the display properties?
Is your windows desktop stretched over both screens?

You have to select the "Extend my dekstop onto this monitor" on the second monitor within the displayproperties.

That's weird, on my laptop it runs great.....
Are you sure you used the right graphicssettings in the cfg-file?

Also for other people who don't have a tripplehead2go, this [www.kegetys.net] is a FREE software solution.
It also works with GP4!

Hi JeDa.

I've also got TripleHead2Go on 3 19" BenQ monitors, and yes - GP4 is truely awesome across 3 screens. I'm having some issues regarding the field of view in cockpit. What cockpit cam settings do you use? There's a post here with screenies showing the problems I'm having. [makephpbb.com]

Could you post your cockpit cam settings please?

Regards,

Mr Pibb.
