How to use TSM?

Hi,
I tried to use TSM, but it doesnt work. I followed this tutorial [www.grandprixgames.org] but the tracks just dont load. There's no "load" or "unload" button, I have the latest version of TSM.

This step:

is not very clear for me. Can someone explain this step in more detail?

if you start TSM from CSM then load/unload tracks buttons won't appear. Instead go to mod configurables in CSM and select your track profile from the drop down box.

When you load the mod tracks will be loaded with it.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Can someone explain how to add the tracks to the bottom section? Every guide I've seen never explains this step. It seems to skip from Create Profile to adding tracks to the top section (which to me is the obvious part).

I've clicked on Install Tracks and it asks for a TSM file. All I seem to be able to do is load in the default tracks.

click manage tracks

and then add new track

then enter track folder name (my track or something) and details. Then select the locations of the .wad, .dat etc files anywhare on your hard drive and they will be copied to your track folder in GP4 and then press save

thats it!

I assume I can place each wad/bmp/gpi anywhere and TSM will copy them to the GP4 folder when the game is launched?

@dcuk7, just point tsm at the appropriate wad,dat ,etc, and it will sve the track in the "tracks" folder in the main gp4 directory

with csm do the gp4 italia mods work?

Got it from GP4Italia. My favourite 90's seasons were 95 and 97 so this is as close as I will get I suppose! Damn good mod though.

Hmm I dont really understand.. I have a 2006 tracks and order file made in TSM, but now i want to use it without CSM, so how do I have to do that?

Go to the folder where you installed ZaZ tools (c:\Program Files\ZaZ GP4 Tools by default), double click on TSM.exe and use it as you usually do.

yes I know, but I want to start my gp4 normal, so with gpxpatch and then use the tracks from my TSM file..

Hello! You must click <unload track> in TSM... then GP4 start with oryginal track.
