Its been a while since I posted something here in the GPG forum,but I had to say some words about this helmet textures.
They look perfect,great work all of you people!
But I think you should get a little bit more organized,who´s making which helmets?
It would be better for everyone who is interested in this helmet set to know which helmets are already done and which ones are left to do
About the helmet shape,thanks for the nice words! It still isnt perfect but I couldnt do any better than this.Also it seems some people complain about the visor mapping.Well the mapping of the visor is almost the same like in the 2005 Arai,but I think that the "textures stretching" that happens is due to the new shape of the visor.Offcourse I could have done it in a way that this "textures stretching" wouldnt happen,but then I would have to "sacrifice" some accuracy of the shape.
And since complains would occur in either ways I decided to concentrate on the accuracy
Some more things about the helmet shape,there will be the usual 2 versions, 1 "wing version",and 1 "no-wing version" it will also be released a template which hopefully will make helmet painting much easier for everyone,it has a wireframe layer so you can see wich area you are painting,and some shading and highlighs layers
