Hullo All.
Skipping the usual ramblings that go with me annoucing something heres the Arai 2006 by Eugenio.
Both Wing and Non-Wing Versions have been done.

and shockingly yes i did paint the above helmet :P
However i dont wish to release yet due to one factor. that the mapping for the top is different. see below.

If a few good helmet painters such as Overgone and MDBSnake could contact me so that i could send it to them so that a 2006 F1 Helmet Set for this shape could be produced i would be greatful. the mapping for the side however is still the same :)
I have done a few helmet although i suck at helmet painting so they arent up to for example ovegones standard. I have done Schumacher M, Schumacher R, Alonso, Williams Drivers, BAR Drivers, RBR Driversa nd a few others

the new top mapping is good, makes it easy to make these circles on the top such as rubens and ralf helmets... and it is good for my new 2006/2007 fantasy helmet :)

edit: just one more question - why one side of the visor is more darker than the other?
sometimes ingame the light comes from other sides, if you understand what i am trying to say...

to be honest, the mapping of the visor ruins a great helmet shape...

What if:

You don't use the lower part, and remap the helmet. Now, let's say a height (of the texture) of 20CM is stretched over a height of 10CM

Just don't use 10CM of the texture, so the texture doesn't get stretched over the helmet, ét voilá!

i think that its because some might want to use those helmets with the steering wheel hands made by pankyapus or whatever that guy is called ;)

Limited wheel movement for starters, and you have to get the distance absolutely perfect for all cars, otherwise you're wasting your time

I also liked the 3D-arms at first but now we have these wonderful arms and steering whely by Pankykapus, Hega and Stifflers mum and they look much better so I don't think we need the 3D-ones anymore.

@Senna just call me Panky ;) Nice shape but Floris is right as the visor's downside is too distorted :)

the shape looks very good,, yeh maybe the visor mapping is not very good but we gotta live with it and it doesn't seem to be a big problem to me :D
