Getting GP4 up to date is a project in its own right IMO lol.

Displaying wysiwyg cc-line in 3DEditor.

I worked on it several days when I added .dat support, then took a second attempt some months later for some days to get some approximation formulas.
I finaly left it as it was as it seems it couldn't be done better.
Then SDI and I retalked about it and we worked for near one week, every nights between 22h and 2h in the morning, working together in paralell to read the code and to try to get a working delphi translation.
Once again it was not perfect but for a few tracks and only non-edited ones.
So we stopped again with a bastard solution.

And finally I met Patrick who never worked on GP4 before and who found our errors and built the final cc-line perfect solution in a week or two.

A long long process but at least the end is happy :)

thanks to lo2k & co for the work involved in developing the 3d editor we can now make tracks for gp4...so for me the whole process of learning how to build a track from scratch with ideas & theory was the hardest thing i've done to date.... thankfully easier now...

This is probably wrong thread but i want also say big thanks to Lo2K.
When i first time start 3dEditor (maybe V14.???) i was.. OMG.. Is this true...
No more words to explain how good this program is..

(I have seen 3DSimEd for Rfactor etc. tracks but it's #.."#& program and not freeware)

BTW, I don't need new version of 3Deditor because i have everything already what i need to edit tracks. (atm) :)
