Announcement

I have spent some time this afternoon tidying up the website and adding a couple fo new articles which I hope are of interest for all involved in the W300/WGP. I've also made a new url which I thought might be easier to remember for newer followers of the series though the old one does still work ;-)

So check it out! [www.world300.tk]

Looks nice and a good explanation of how that BHP works.

Japanese Grand Prix Practise

There is a new video page on the website which (with any luck) shall be up and running very soon so check it out!

The teams brought the rain wioth them from Europe to Japan

Paul Willins was first to set a time

Traffic proved a problem once again today as Prins found out

Jo Pellatt had a terrible day being overtaken by every major runner and was unable to set a competitive time

Ebbie Attard once again showed Ebi Motors' strength in the wet

Nick Ovey followed him to second

Prins was very impressive to bury himself in the top ten

But Rayman stole the day at the last moment by smashing the rest of the field and going fastest

Japanese Grand Prix Qualifying

Attard was first out onto a dry track

The circuit soon became damp and it was a race just to see who could get in a dry lap

Willins forced Garceau off the track on his run to avoid losing time

Rayman used Buijs' slipstream to take provisional pole

Turnbull managed to knock just five thousandths off of that time

The two GP-Raicng cars' times were a long way off the fastest but were competitive nonetheless

By the time Neil got out on trackit was very wet in some places

It was clear the times were now being severely affected

Bobby Neil, Robert Postma, Bernie Bolt and Rubens Greidanus all abandoned their laps and shall start from the back, they shall avoid the parc fermé conditions

Will Wood chose to stay out and took 13th, seven second sdown on Turnbull's time

JJ Bud Racing were affected most by the weather as neither car got near the top ten

Remember to check out the website's new VIDEO SECTION!!

I want to complain about the fact there are no pictures of VdvRacing, we have sponsors to satisfy you know ;)

And too bad Ruben couldn't set a time :( I hope the whole lot in the front crashes off, I don't want the team to drop further in the championship...

Well done though to Byron who managed a nice 9th time :)

I think the Renault one engine thing didnt last long so teams that joined later chose their own engine.

Next year I'm pretty sure people will be able to use any engine they wish

and thanks Nick
