Hi there

All work you guys have seen so far is only by xav85... In my opinion, the best dat maker I know :)

I´ll try to generate some elevations to the dat files he made, just that...

Hope you enjoy at the end...

And mugello dat will be finished and send to a friend of mine who will include it to his MOD.

Cheers

Will there be standard textures to simulate the Grand Prix circuit as it was run with stands, crowds, normal tarmac etc, and not just the blue painted lanes as with the test circuit?

It's a test track now, but 14 grand prix were run there on two different layouts, the last in 1990. So it would be needed with all textures for at least the 79, 86, and 88 mods...

BTW, I have driven this track in GTR 2, and it's shedloads of fun...

No, it's not, but people who work on stuff here also have a personal life... So you just have to wait till they show something new. But I like stuff better that is done right before the 1st release and I don't really like those quick made stuff who need a lot of patches to fix it all.

That track will never see the light of day in GP4. The authors appear to have no interest in completing that project. Yet another reason why most of my sim time is spent in GTR 2 and GPL these days....

rubbish, the project is still being worked on at F1 Virtual.

if you have a problem with the delay, don't complain about it - either do it yourself or patiently wait like most other people are doing. posts like that benefit nobody.

Would be nice if it is eventually released, but I for one no longer expect to see it. If you feel otherwise then I applaud your optimism and wish you well....

If we could, 300 new tracks would be released each year.

And they would be the very best sim track ever done, once GP4 is able for.

But we are human, and there are SO many things much more important than GP4...

Maybe some day you´ll get it.

Best regards
