There are some other awsome tracks in developpement by Gildoorf right now.
So you'll have to wait a bit longer for Paul Ricard - but the other tracks will be great, great and great, too :)

for me, gildoorf has to be one of the most talented track makers around here..
the work he puts into these tracks is second to none...as a fellow track maker
it's easy for me to see how much attention to detail he has put into each of his released tracks to date...i'm sure we will start to see more news on these projects when there is more to tell...so i look forward to these tracks in the future.... keep up the good work....

Hi

Paul Ricard is on the way.

We've (me and xav85) have been working at some layout configuration.... Only dat files are ok so far....

But some really important we need: a track altimetry.

Or we will have to be based on pictures and onboard laps...

If you could find that, it would be great

Cheers

@Gildoorf:

>>>some really important we need: a track altimetry.

All I know for sure is the width of the track:
Maximum: 12 meters.
Minimum: 10 meters at the exit of turn 19.

The track itself is pretty flat, but it's built on a plateau.
I believe that the middle of the Mistral straight and the S/F line are the highest points.

As for precise elevation data:
Have you tried asking them yourself ?

Good luck (and please don't give up, this is by far my favourite track ;-) )

Hi there...

Thanks for help you all...

For sure, track is pretty flat, as I see on some xav85's videos... But a track altimetry would be better for realism...
I've sent a post to Paul Ricard Administrator... But no response so far...

But thank you anyway. Any material will be great for now.
:)

Cheers

What type of material you need ??

I took a lot of pictures of the track ...
If you want somes, ask me ...

For the altmetry, what a pity !
If I know that when I did my photos, I could get some measures of altimetry too ...

Hi there

For those who expect a Paul Ricard for next December... Please, wait. Trackmaking takes a lot of time, and for sure people run for their lives :)

So...

Work is going on a very good way. Xav85 and I decided that is possible to work with several layout configuration, so he's working on dat files for now.

No rush at all.

Be sure it's going to de nice at the end. This we hope.

Cheers

It's a bloody shame that they changed from Paul Ricard to f*ckin' boring Magny-Cours in the F1.
