F.A.C. GP4 Mod 2006 | released

This mod CTD's for me on loading a track.

Are you sure you have a fresh installation of the game?

I have problems too. Why is there that Intweb's old FW27 and McLaren from season 2005? I first downloaded the mod, then uninstall the game and reinstalled it, downloaded the exe, started through GPxPatch, calibrated sounds and graphics and restarted the game. I did something wrong?

I would install it in this order:

1.) Grand Prix 4 Full Installation
2.) GP4 Patch 9.6 (if its needed for the mod)
3.) FAC Mod 2006
4.) Decrypted 1.00 oder 1.02 (if GP4 with patch 9.6)
5.) GPxPatch

Just wondering is it possible to put this mod to the bittorrent or other P2P-networks to download because there's allways that time limit in the official site? I have only 512 kbps upload so I can't seed it much though.

Attention: This update is not a Mod! The F.A.C. Mod V.4 is required.
This update will not change any of your settings of your installed GP4.



Information:
1. Tracks in 2007 order
new tracks:

2. New steering wheel with all information needed

Lee1971 (konvert Wheels by rfactor)

Before installation:
Backup your cars.wad and the fonts-directory if you want to keep your old cars.wad.

The steering wheel is located in the bonus-directory, if you just want the wheel and do not want to use the cars.wad from the update.

Now you can install the update into your GP4-directory.



Problems/bugs:
Because the track Barcelona is now in Imola's slot, you won't get a useful graphics calibration - the cars will crash.

If you want a calibration nevertheless, reinstall the Imola track right from the bonus-directory. Now calibrate your graphics settings twice, then reinstall the Barcelona track (also located in the bonus-directory).

All in all a calibration is not necessary for this update because your settings will not be touched. A calibration is only necessary after you've changed your graphics card or in cases of curiosity. Instead you also can use Fraps, which will show you the amount of frames.
