Well I had blueprints so that kinda made the job easier :P But thanks all the same :)

I've run into a few problems with the A3. The shape is actually finished, but with the car being 39,000 polies, I'm still trying to find a nice way of trimming it down.

In the mean time, I've started back up on the foetus. I made and mapped the pit buildings last night, and I'm going to make a few more bits for it as well, then I'll make a few shadows and give the .bin file a check over to see if what Lo2k suggested about dry areas on a wet track is true (hope it is, will look great :))

So, watch this space, and at the pace I'm making stuff now (30 minutes to make and map the pit buildings last night) it's likely that this thing will be finished soon :)

Zep, so you create all the objects of your track by yourself? I mean the large objects.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Largest ones yes, the smaller ones I can't be bothered with, or I take them from elsewhere ;)

As an aside from the track for my rendering addiction, I've started making my own set of render rims. These are not based on anything in particular, just some ideas I've had floating around for a while before I move onto my studio render scene. The rims are gonna be 16, 11, and 6 spoke (16 I finished last night after 1 1/2 hours graft) and I'll be doing 11 next, as well as making a few more simple objects for the foetus. I'm hoping to release the projects mentioned here at around the same time, so stay tuned folks :)
Any news on Estroril, Zepp?
