IRL Indycar

Bitchin! Puts my progress into perspective! I've only found some time now to crack on with Rahal and Ganassi. But yeah, can anyone tell me where to find seriously high-res photos of IRL cars?

EDIT: muchos gracias for the reworked templates! that should help me a great deal wit h trying to get the front of the RL car right. Utter bastard trying to align the lines properly...¬_¬

Think that some of us are in the same trouble...
motorsport.com pics aren´t very highres, and more high reas pics (or different angles) should be very helpful.

Example, to find the Elrod logo on the nose of my Vision Racing cars, I looked into last years photos to find if some of the ads showed last year were used this year too (and I was a bit lucky, the elrod logo and the TEAM logo were the only ones that keep showing at the cars... :P)

elrod, eh? yeah, that's a @#$%& tough one. A lot of the smaller ones will be hard to make. Take Worldwide Pants on the RL cars. I'll have to make that one myself, since there's bugger all images on the net...

@GLD: Yep, the 2 sides of the TCam are mapped apart so no more flipped logo at the opposite side :P

@MarcA: I´m not the Mod coordinator, I only bettered a bit the templates and start painting. I´m not the person to speak about that.
Oh, and what kind of experience do you have in carpainting?

I've painted two cars before and about 6 helmets... So I can do it.

Marca, as far I'm concerned you're in. I'll put you up for the Panther Racing Dallara of Vitor Meira. The shape will be sent to you, when you'll give me your email adress. Also, you can add me on msn indycarmod*at*hotmail*dot*com. I'll put a new overview of the mod. As soon as I'll get some of the finished textures, I'll start putting the mod together in a CSM set.

Shapes
_Oval Version: Dallara

I´ll take the #8 Delphi car of Scott Sharp.
Also, Target Chip Ganassi Team and Delphi, both teams change to Panoz chasis on St. Petersburg (Dallara on Homestead-Miami Speedway).

@Tahlendorf, I know about the changes in chassis, but as long as we don't have the Road Course versions of the cars, we'll do Oval only for now. I still have to send e_shumi some pics to do the new Road Course wings. I'll add you to the Delphi Fernandez car too.

@GLD, I'll add you to Cheever Racing.

Tomorrow I have a whole day to do some work on the mod. I'll try and find good pictures first.

Huh> Some progress...

Being a IRL fan. Thank you to everyone working on this.

Well, I´ll start with the Delphi Team.
Vision Racing Team is "quasi" complete (only 2 little logos to spot )
I´ll wait to send the textures with lasts lines of GLD.

Good work there, tahlendorf, but it looks like that the Honda logo could be improved. Looks a little too spaced out. Sort that out, and you're done!
