Maybe it's possible, we need to co-ordinate this thing for GP4 better first lol - I'm as guilty as anyone for not carrying on the work lol - as long as someone gets in touch with the current situation (i think i was doing the cheever racing car) then we can get it started again, properly lol

It IS possible... so let's do it ! I love oval racing and I would like to see an IRL Mod.

I think I can :

- Make tracks .dat files (not the grafical part because I'm not good at shaping...)
- Paint some cars
- Make performance and physics files
- Camera positions

But it still miss carshapes... (6 carshapes are needed to make a complete Mod : both Dallara and Panoz with three configurations : Road, Urban and short oval races, speedway races, and Indy race shape).

so, what do we have so far?

and most important, what do we need? pics, technical info, painters, what? i'd like to help.

First we need at least one shape to paint on. After that we need painters (cars , helmets, tyres, menus pictures perhaps...). I have some technical datas and I can work on physics and performance. And I'm currently spending the whole of my time working on another thing that will be useful to this Mod if it is started (but I will keep it a secret...)

there are already (or were :P) both Panoz and Dallara shapes, at least oval versions, but that's enough already to paint all cars. i just want to know if those who were involved in the first place, want to keep working on this, or at least share what they have done for this to keep rolling.

OK, so if someone could share these shapes/templates so that we could begin painting, and transmit their work to me, I can begin compiling a CSM set.

Well, first of all, I thought we can make a season start set, which means as see at Homestead Miami. There are 16 cars to paint (some are the same for teammates) and 20 helmets. So we need more painters, and I repeat that I need that someone send me the templates/shapes or the cars.

Second, I thank every person who proposed his help and invite you to choose in the folloing list the cars/helmets you want to paint.
