IRL Indycar

Well actually it's more his car than mine... He did the mapping, and made a initial template. Since I haven't made the car myself, it's not my car either :D

Anyways, I always wanted to have an Indycar mod, this was one way to get the ball rolling. I'm very happy it's beginning to take shape.
Btw, the render he made was just to show a little preview of the shape. So don't mind the textures, other people are working on that. You might also notice that the wheels aren't right either. But since we don't have Indy wheels yet, we wok with the tools we have at hand.

Just got the files, and had a 5 minute playaround with them.



It's not much at the moment, but it's a step towards the Rahal Letterman car!

Couple of questions: The ringed blue bits are the issues with the model itself. Could you take a look at them soon!

i have a good experience with photoshop, and in the past, i was made a car for gpxcarpainting, but the site was close now, and i got a new pc since that time.

Just a quick update, have nearly finished the Penske of Sam Hornish Jr. Body lines etc to do then the car of Helio Castroneves...

I´m modifying the templates with bodylines, shadows and higlights, so we´ve common lines for Dallara chasis, and common lines for Panoz chasis.

I´ve worked on the Dallara template:
A little update on the mapping of the sidepods to not to mess with shadows.


Once finished the Dallara, I´ll work on the Panoz.
