1999 Update- online now

Guys, try updating your winRar as well, maybe that could be it?

great! now how do i set up the track-specific cars.wad files?

i'm really having trouble sorting this out. how do i do that manually?

you only have to copy all the cars wads in your gp4\gpsaves\carsets\f1 1999 folder and the other files in your gp4\gpsaves\carsets\f1 1999\gpxpdata folder, then overwrite all the files and that's all. After this you can start the carsetmanager, choose the season 99 and play the season 99

quickslick, any other place you can upload the spa cars.wad as im not a member of rapidshare,cheers.

you don't need to be a member, simply click on free and then on the next page after a few seconds for waiting, you'll be able to download the wad

i've already copied everything where they're supposed to go, but i always get the default cars no matter what track i pick.

cant download it as my ISP is crappy AOL,keeps telling me i have downloaded over the exceeded amount.

i just thought, will download it at work tommorow on my bosses pc.

Very very good mod! Cars are fantastic!
But I have one problem.. Looks like perfomance file is not loading.. I have all perfomance like in original, 2001 year... what shoul I do to solve this problem?

@matt,how come you have a limit on aol?,i`ve been with them ages and never had a limit

something to do with aol being a proxy server switching ip adresses,anyway i got the file now.

I have solved problem by myself.. It was because of very strange name for perfomans and physics.. My comp does not recognize letter O with two points above it (omlaut or something) and I had to rename it and edit CSM file. But now I have to play without track-specific cars.wad.

another problem is that I have incorrect colour of arms and rims. For example, Benetton rims are blue and Williams driver's arms are also blue :-/ has everybody this problem?
