Tony, you can't win this... I gave up explaining why CSM is the way to have several seasons and several series in GP4.

Probably the biggest advantage of CSM is space saving. If the only difference between two races is a livery change, the CSM mod will be a few MB bigger, but manually you would need an extra 20MB cars.wad, once you get up to 17 wads you are talking about a huge amount of space wasted for no reason.

@Jurgen I just made Barrichello's helmet instead of learning so come to Skype and I send you the files. I improved my own 1998 Rubens helmet so it's totally made by me
I'd like to be in the readme as well

yeah i know Erik - but still nice to know why some can't see the light :p

in testing the final 2005 mod can take up 3 or 4 GB when all the wads are compiled

i used to be like that with my own built 2003 and 2004 seasons until about a month ago.
since i started using CSM i dont know how i went without it for ages.
took me about an hour to convert my 03 and 04 season to CSM.

We just release CSM sets so we'll force everyone to use it

I won't install a set with 17 cars.wads, at the moment I don't even have that kind of space!

I LOVE CSM! It's the sweetest deal going. In GPL there is the GEM+2 utility which switches car sets, seasons, and tracks, but GPL doesn't have the configurability we get here with CSM....

whatever u say about CSM i am not convinced at all. here i am not saying it's waste thing. def'lly it is one of the most important and half life for GP4 mods.

but for me updating manually each and everything is fun and time pass.daytime office work and night time GP4 work.

i play only mods with CSM is 2005 mod by tony and beautiful and awesome mod 1991 beta from ERIX only.

let's jump to topic when is this mod going to be released today or after saturday.

Nice job, I don't if I can ask that but here I go : Can you convert that mod to Rfactor later on ? if so, that would be wonderful .
