@Kimi : For cars; it's obvious you ned to reinstall them.
For missing tarmac, it's due to the fact the .bin mesh does not fit the .gp4 tarmac mesh. So be sure to recreate the .bin file with the exact HD settings you used to create the .gp4 tarmac objects and everything should be fine.

@All : If you are interested in a look back in time, I posted a small illustrated list of some of the innovations I brought to GP4 through time. I sometime have the feeling I'm working on Gp4 since an eternity :)

very nice innovation guide Laurent :p

coul there be somekind of tutorial for this, how to do it(example skid marks)?:D I would really like to see this one on all tracks hehe

Tarmac marks (04/2008)

This is an improved version of the usual quad placed just above the tarmac. As marks mesh is a perfect copy of the track mesh, it can stand very close to the track mesh and stay visible at very long range without flickering. This could lead to high quality marks, lines or else everywhere on the track.

would it be therefore possible to use that feature for the white patches of the resin used to patch up the track at montreal?

I would say yes because Laurent said you can do all kind of marks like example those white lines as seen in at melbourne etc.

@Vesuvius: I alread explained everything in details (I think) at page 93.

@Schueyfan : Yep, you can use that trick to create the white "dust" the same way as I created rubber marks in the first screen I posted.

Can someone explain to me what the numbers at the failure chances exactly mean in percentage values with magic data?

For the next GP4Builder version, it would be good if make Alt+no. key move to scene x as its annoying having to click all the time.

hello guys
what can I do to make the tarmac to share some on the track darker or lighter?

@super_alonso : you can also click in the view to select objects from any scene (you need to disable the 1 scene display state of course).

@Schueyfan : Not sure it could be done without much efforts, especialy for menu shortcuts.

@Laurent:
for next release:
Could you set kerb distance 1 to 0 by default (not 10)? People often forgett to change this and then we always see some strip of grass between the trac and the kerb which looks bad imo...problem is solved when the value is set to 0 by default.

@Ruboy : Yep, I often saw screens with such kerbs and never thought before it was the default value in GP4Builder...I will fix it.
