Hummm

Great news...

Is it gonna be possible to export whole scene as a .3ds?

Great improvements I think. 3dbuilder is really really stable and I can´t remember the last time I had a CTD I couldn´t easily fix with 3dbuilder.

Cheers, mate
And get back soon

Nice point there mate

It doesn't need to be everything in one file, it's even better if every object is exported into its own .3ds file since it's possible to open them all at once in ZModeler.

Just saving time by not doing the many Alt+F+E+Ps would be great :)

Saving a scene as a bunch of .3ds file is easy to add but you will get hundreds of files then...

Yes, that's what I want! ;)

It's useful in some cases when I prefer to work with ZModeler.

Hi guys. I've created a track of my own (.dat .gp4) and updated the wad file but when I start GP4 it crashes. I've followed all steps of Dave Hagenaars Tutorial. Someone could helps me?

For the new GP4Builder it would be good if you can select exporting to gp4 files and 3ds files with one click rather than having to go into the file menu every time.

You need to start eliminating things, until you find what is causing the crash. Start with the .Dat file. Load the track with your DAT and the orignal WAD. If it still crashes, then it´s the DAT. In this case, check flags first. If that still doesn´t work, then delete the CC-Line (back it up first). If it loads without a CC-line, then there´s something wrong with that. Put the CC´line back and delete one sector and try again, then the next sector and so on until it loads without crashing.

If the Wad file is causing the crash, then try replacing the Bin files first with the originals. If it´s not that then delete a scene at a time until it works. Failing that, then I don´t know.

How come "nothing happens"? Does it crash straight away when you use only the .dat file?

I've tried to use my .DAT and the original WAD(Barcelona2001) but GP4 crashes when I try to load the track...I've tried to delete CC lines:same results.I've made a lap onto my car in GP4buider and track seems nice and interesting.Pit lane flags are ok.Is this the reason I'm asking an help to a guru of the track making....;)
