Hi,

Thanks for the response but I still have a problem.
I can't choose Add/track from .dat. I searched in the help and there I find: "If both .gp4 and .dat files are opened, you can also add new fences objects or convert .dat track ..."
How can I open both .gp4 and .dat files? Because I can't open them both in one single GP4 Builder. When I want them both open, GP4 Builder opens twice.

To open both .gp4 and .dat files, you have to open the .gp4 file named as it will be in the wad, when the .dat is in the same folder, named as if it was the .dat of this track.

For instance, if your track is designed for the A1-Ring slot (6th), you have to have in the same folder :

- a1ring2001.gp4
- S1CT06.dat

and if you open a1ring2001.gp4, il will open both files.

How can i change the cc-direction of tracksectors? At the exit of a turn they point too much to the left which cause twitchy movements of the cc cars.

It looks ugly and i want to have it perfect.

Action\Fix CCcars behaviour might fix it if your sectors are correctly defined (correct distance and orientation...)

It was right before i did Action\Fix CCcars, it happened with that action strangely.

There is no way to change it manually, apart from redoing the sectors completely?

You can edit the CCdir value from each sector (from the sector windows) but I doubt it will be better (and don't forget that any change to a sector CCdir value will be spread to every other sectors after selected one.

I had tried that already, result is even worser.

I'm gonna redo the sectors completely when i have the motivation again. :(

Anyway, are cc cars behaviours so weird ? (if so, can you send me your .dat file ? I would like to check and try some things about such problem).

Rotate the sectors by pressing the rotate button and update cc cars behaviour.

might it be that like in my earlier tracks the angle of the turns is too
sharp /severe & is causing the ai cars to judder ?

After a good night of sleep i was motivated to redo the section of the track that was causing cc-direction issues and i managed to solve it.

@Turbo Lover : It's clearly better :)

@Nixblicker : You might try to assing another material to your bridge, I assume the actual one has selfillumniation property on.

@Turbo:

Well done, mate :)

This issue is very very and very ;-) important for the physical part of the track! If sectors have not correct orientation and cc car direction is wrong the track will hardly driveable. Well considered :)
