@paolo: Your headache will be delayed for a couple of months but trust me, it'll be a full blown migraine come then

Another break, but more progress. I scrapped the .dat in favour of doing the graphics first. Some of you may recognise this as GTR2, because, well, it is :P



I'll make the .dat from it, it should turn out nice if I can get everything into max to shift it over to 3d editor

@zeppelin..why the change from building a dat file & map to gtr 2 conversion??

i started a gtr2 track conversion but noticed they used a completely new texture system this time around that gives far from pleasing results..




as opposed to original gtr tracks..

Basically, cos I cant be bothered to make everything myself, I'm lazy like that, plus I have wonderful A levels this year (w00t).

This will turn out fine, I've experimented with textures from GTL and GTR2 already and the results will be fine with some work
