Sorry Karan19, 'beta' versions usually aren't released to the public, so the title saying that a beta version was availble, would traditionally intimate that it was only for a select few, it seems commonplace to release beta versions at the moment and carry out a lot of fixes on the 'live' car, but I preferred with this release to stick to traditional means and enlist the help of some very experienced (and enthusiastic) GP4 gamers to point out any flaws in the car through beta testing, then fix it before putting it up for general release.
Sorry to mislead you, but the good news is, due to the kind (and speedy) work of the beta testers, I am quickly amending the car and should be able to release a public 'alpha' version at the weekend, at the moment saturday is hopeful, although at worst case scenario (trying to reduce LODs, etc), it could be sunday evening, monday morning.
Either way, by early next week, it should be available on a number of sites for download. Then I'll start work on the versions up to and including next weekends Shanghai Grand Prix.
Once the season final is completed, I intend to have a look at the earlier cars and convert the hi-res shape back to release Melbourne to Indy versions. Also whilst looking at this, I plan to work on and release a fantasy two-seater version of the FW27, designated the FW27X - templates for repaints will be available with each version (including the FW27X) I release.
Thanks for all the interest.
Steve.
