ok we may have discovered the problem and we have fixed it ( hopefully ) and I will upload version 1.2 tomorrow

Just tried them and they work great. But I noticed that in cockpit view the treads
are messed up. Is there any work around?

just save car_wheel_front_lod0.gp4 to car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4

Awesome work they look great ingame however:

I had the problem with the textures in cockpit view they appear to be slicks from inside the cockpit. I did as you said and renamed and it fixed in cockpit view but now from the outside view they look like slicks.

hmm... that's strange problem I will have to check that but I don't have that kind of problem .

cockpit problem solved,make a copy of car_wheel_front_lod.gp4 and rename it to car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4 then works fine...see here...

edit: finding that there are 4 verseions of car_wheel_front_lodX, where X respresents either 1, 2, 3, or 4, i dont know which to rename, and for renaming, if i just put car_wheel_front_cockpit and then add lodX to the end of that/

the renamed ones go in cars/cokcpit?

goes in /cars , there you find the file car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4 ,
copy the file car_wheel_front_lod_0.gp4 rename it car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4 and overwrite the file of the same name in the cars dir.
