Ferrari 2004 wip

Already noted before, I'm note sure exactly if I will add it.
We discussed about it yesterday with Dahie and maybe will I add an advanced panel for "advanced" users but I want to keep installer as simple as possible.
1 choice, 1 gp4 path, 1 button to apply.
Using more features/options/choices can only complexify task and increase questions about what to do front to them by new users.

It shouldn't be confusing if you add "select another wad" button, and cars.wad stay as default installation path...?

Your wishes have been granted once again as I finally added a cars wad field and a checkbox to enable or not installation of teameditor datas once again (you do not need to install .car data if you are updating files of other cars wad than Cars.wad).
Both are in a new advanced panel hidden by default (a bit like wadupdater file list).

Well, my part of work is done all right, but Nicola is still not perfectly satisfied with shape, and the car has been delayed three times by him. Nicola even bought himself a scale model to help him with proportions. Perfectionism reached a new level
My guess is that nitpickers drove him nuts, and he wants it 100% right. I have no idea when it'll be out, but don't worry, it's beeing worked on...

Hi to all
The car is ready...we are only waiting for the last race, to see the model.
Basically, we have the Japan model....but the Interlagos model is different only in minor particulars, as China version, and others.
Probably, this upcoming version will be followed by others, with almost all 2004 configurations.
And ovarall, Bojan, Matt and me have tried to give You a realistic 2004 ferrari model to satisfy perfectionists....avoiding, if possible, nitpickers.
So: have a little bit more patience...we are arriving.

so will there be a version for each race? if not, which gp version will be this going-to-release version?

I think we could release easily and quickly all tobacco versions, except Melbourne-Sepang-Bahrain-Imola, since in those races ferrari had grills, that need some more work for carshape, and texture ( so: maybe, later we could prepare a grill version ). I think also No tobacco versions are basically ready. We have all pieces for carshapes, and Bojan the specific texture.
But these are only my thoughs. I have to hear Bojan about the release of the car, and the version we want to publish.

you could do it like Enzojz if you like. Just upload all the different versions!
