you need to flip the number 1 texture. Use GP4 master to extract it and then a paint program to flip it. Replace the sauber_1.tex in your cars.wad with the new file you have just created. Then recreate your cars.wad. Job done!
Sorry if that sounds a bit confusing but it is actually quite simple.

I realise that, but it may be a while before the author can publish a fix and this solution will allow people who want to fix it themselves to do so.

Thanks mp4-dave, it worked for me.
The only thing to say, is that you must flip it horizontal

the syntium or whatever it is logo on the left sidepod is mirrored on the left sidepod, you can see it in the preview

Well you could use paint shop pro, or even just paint probably.

At the rate Enzojz is putting cars out (2 in a week I think now) you've got to expect the occasional bug - he's put in days of work on end, and you can't be bothered to spend 1 minute correcting a slight problem?

hold on a minute i have respect and id ont mind waiting for an update what enzojz does is amazing and i would edit it myself but i dont have the tools required and paint dosent support tga files so i cant use that
And im not complaining because a sauber from viper with a few bugs is still a hell of a lot better than some other peoples work when its finished

Does anyone else have a problem with Vipers Ferrari with the right rear bodywork disappearing at certain intervals, mainly on Rubens car?

I keep getting it and the bugfix didn't work.
