I did a 2002 and a 2003 PT helmet, but both in low res. They were for the CART 2002 and ChampCar 2003 MODs. Anyway, I'm going to do a PT 2001 super-hi-res helmet for CART 2001, but it looks slightly different from the ones you posted, wich are from 2002 (the green one) and 2003 (the blue one). The chrome effect anyway is very hard to do, and I'll just do my best to have the best effect on Gp4

didnt he have the green one in 2001 aswell? since he was with Team Kool Green then, he had a blue helmet when he was wiht Penske, then green one with TKG and back to blue for Forsythe Racing.

Yes, he had a green helmet, but the design was slightly different from the 2002 one. I post a couple of photos, so you can have a look

ineed some help. starburst or line then starburst on the top of the helmet

hmmm... keep the flow. If you change the top to something else, will most likely look weird, since the top covers such a small area. Understand? If not, just look at how it is with the blank top

Yes, I know it's difficult to get the chrome, but you can do it using the chrome-alike of Trulli's Toyota helmet (I guess)...

Wow!! I see that's a real challenge the Paul Tracy helmet because for some reason this thread is now stopped!

I am currently working on my PT helmet for CART 2001 MOD. I'm gonna post some shots soon

Here's my first preview. Of course WIP, still a lot of things to do
