New GPxSAT TV overlay screens coming, if...

Well, I don't think I can use it for GPxPatch, even if you have an copy, because that would be illegal. As far as I have seen, Frutiger is a font you have to pay for - unfortunately.

Any progress made on the tv overlays?

I'm currently finishing the screens I got pictures.

I seach for this pictures/screenshots:

IsInPits-Screen
Penalty-Screen (well, there might be no picture yet )
PitTimer-Screen
RetiredScreen/IsOutOfRaceScreen
SpeedTrap-Screen

And I'm searching for following screen:
I need the qualifying screen when the first pole position (that means when the first car out on track has set time) was set!

Any help and screenshots would be great.

I didn't think there was one anyway. I've never seen a "***** is out of the race" screen...anywhere.

how much programming is involved guys?
I'd like to make a 1988 version if possible

Well, programming isn't very difficult, because it already exists and you only have to copy or use the functions. So programming part is less than 1 day I guess (for me, because code is not very structured unfortunately). Designing part could be more than a week (but only if you need animations, that cost me very much time working on new style). If you give me screenshots of all features I'll try to add a 1988 version, if I have more free time.

I'll get some 1988 screenshots ready for you. I can do all the graphics, so you'd only need to do the background stuff
any chance it could be made to be user configurable?

Also, the lap counter has moved to the centre of the screen, like the Digital timing screens.

Didn't know if you needed the Track information one with the temp etc, but here you have it anyway.
Furthermore there is a screen 'car nr xx under investigation by the stewards' which I did not include, because I don't think that one could be used in GP4.

Hi ricky,

i have a question about your new style grafics. Are they planned as animated gifs (or something like this) or as single pics.

The new fia sat grafics are all animated - think you know that.

So im asking for this...

Trippin' 2 perf3ction

Just for information:

• All screens will be animated as seen on (my television). I don't use animated gifs or something else, so GPxSAT creates the animation itself - therefore I'll think about releasing a beta version, because there might be uge bugs with animation on different pcs.
• I've finished nearly all screens, only HasWonRace hasn't been done yet and Penalty must be fixed
• Rene Smith is familiar with my job
• there is a little time delation because my grandfather died and my windows crashed (can only working on Linux right now) - I'll plan to release new 2004 style within next two weeks, but I hope beta release will be ready on this weekend.
• I'll post some screenshots if my windows is working again.
