I was reading in this forum and find this great looking Jordan 191.
And I understand there will be a -91 season you and some more are working on.

Yeah you need them split up and in the exact order........ so you need to do a damage model for it.....which is a bit of a pain but worth it to see it in game i guess

I know my name is behind the Benetton and Ferrari but if some else wants to do one or both of them: be my guest. I have very little time to work on these beauties (almost all of my spare time is spent on the current season)

tis, you should go ahead with those brake discs. I don't care much for 3d spokes, you can easily simulate it with alpha's and it saves us a lot of polys.

About those polygons. Don't be afraid about the polycount, the performance of GP4 will not be harmed much by it. 5000 polys is a medium figure. My F2003-GA has about 10000 but GP4 is still running smooth. It depends on the resolution of your textures.

Whenever you get a chance to make the textures would be great. I'm in no real rush to get them.

I think you are right about the wheel. I don't think that the 3D spokes look great, the don't rotate fast enough anyways. I'll try to work on the wheels again this weekend. I was thinking about it though and I'm not so sure it'll work. There is only one wheel model for the front and rear. I think the game just rotates one wheel 180 degrees for the other side. If this is the case then it won't work properly.

About that F-90 641 made by Stan, it will be nice to see it with textures.
But I think the bulbs that cover the pushrod on the front do not feel right to me.

When I look at F-1 cars from -91 there is no natural way to split them up.
The Ferrari 642 for example the engine cover go from above the pushrod in front and all the way back to the wing. And its kind of smooth shape.

Any news on the release date of the Jordan?

found a bug on the ferrari :/
nose is too low compared to car gota raise it a bit so the car can sit lower

If you're talking bugs, or things that need correcting, the cockpit sides need to addressed, & can you post a side-on shot, so we can see it properly?
