Formula 1 2008 Mod by the GPGames Modding Group

It's time to posts some news about us

After the Fantasy Mod by us, we are working on the F1 2008 Mod.
We want to realese a "Full Package Version" and a "Light Package Version"

The Mods are ready, but we wait for the 2008 Files. The Light Package Version includes 11 cars.
The Full Package Version want to release at the end of the season with ALL 2008 files!

Many People give us the Permission.

we hope that the rest of the modders give us the permission too

I thought gpgames modding group was going to make shapes/cars of their own but you will use others cars after all.it will be quality mod for sure anyway

we thougt this too, but one car modder is away and racervieh's force india is work in progress.
racervieh and me works now at the Mp4-22 by Mitsuro Sano. thanks again! the shape is nearly finish and i want the mapping and textures.

Can't wait to see screens :D

that's an example before to let pass Kimi-The-Champ for a leecher
couldn't contact him in pm .....and fix the situation in that way

we contact all people by PM and they give us the permission.

I know it for sure
it was an example and a advice to not start a fight
and don't give problem to the community
or am i so wrong ?

We´re not leeching. We always try to get all the permissions we need and if we don´t get them - bad luck for us. We don´t use work of others without their permission.
Sou are also not perfect and you make mistakes. It wasn´t our intention to use something we have not asked for.

About the Force India: I haven't talked with Kev and Raul about permission for the Force India yet. As I am part of this group you have my permission for sure, but the others must agree too.

Please just make sure it has a low-res version for poor laptops hehehe

I tried to run the 2006 mod here with low and high-res, definitely almost no loss of quality in low-res (512 and 256) and stunning speed, how a F1 should be.

Just need lower lods and 512 res textures included for the poor lappies/PCs :p.

Very nice news, good luck on the project! And may I suggest the inclusion of the helmets, pitcrews and teamarts in the light version! It won't add too much to the download (unless they're absurd resolution, of course).
