Patching quick race length in gp4.exe

GPxPatch has an option to change the quickrace length in GPxSet. I think this value is set to 5% in the game.

I decided to have fun and try to accomplish this by myself, but couldn't identify a string or something related to this parameter in the GP4.exe that I could change to a different value, say 20%.

I was trying to do something similar to what TomMK did in this post [www.grandprixgames.org]

Any ideas how can do this with a bit of c, c++ or python?

I could also make use of offsets information to change the predefined number of laps value for quick race in the gp4.exe decrypted v1.02 using an hex editor....

I could tell you, but that wouldn't be much fun

I know how to change laps mid race, but not quick race lenght unfortunately
