GRAND PRIX 2022: The F1 2022 mod [standalone mod released - 23/01/13]

I will update and re-upload this mod from time to time (mostly without posting an update to this thread, so just check the download link periodically if you want the latest version).

New features:
- This mod contains all LODs for all 3D objects (cars, helmets, tyres). This results in much lower PO than in other current mods
- Full set of new 3D pit props
- High quality cars, helmets (with tons of track specific textrues) and rims
- Up to date pit crews, engineers and marshalls, updated menus, some 2022 panels, and so on
- Up to date physics and performance files
- Car setups for all 22 tracks
- MagicData for all track except Miami
- much more! Have a look at the readme file and the credits and check the csm options as well


Important note:
You need the latest version of CSM to play this mod! Download ZaZ Tools 1.27b here.
Otherwise the mod will not work properly.

GRAND PRIX 2022 standalone mod

For people who don't want to use CSM, I have compiled a standalone mod. It comes with an installer and a GUI that makes it very easy to play and customize the mod:


Just make sure you have Net6.0 installed . If this message pop's up, just download net6.0 or later(desktop version) and install it:

The standalone mod includes almost all the features of the CSM mod, except for the track specific liveries (cars, helmets, marshals, etc). I added 6 individual cars.wad which are automatically loaded when you select the corresponding track in GP4.
In the GUI you can also select if you want to drive rounds 1-17 or 18-22. GP2022 launcher will make all necessary changes to the game automatically.

Please note: There are no modded tracks included in this mod, just the default ones in 2022 order. But it's very simple to add your custom tracks, just follow the instructions in the GUI (hover over the buttons and read the tools tips).

I fiddled around a bit, and I find, when driving on the keyboard, that the cars have a hard time accelerating, like it's struggling to increase the speed and half lifting when on full throttle. Did you simulate porpoising ? ;P

great mod.but i met a restore error when you are restoring it shows'error 91(object variable or with block variable not set)in procedure main of module modmain'.then it tells me csm did't restore properly.it asks me to restore again,but when you restore again the same error happens again

at least i ran it for a time,really great!hard to believe it's a game from 2001

Thank you for the excellent Mod 2022 and I agree with Hinyaldee that the car brakes a little at 11300 rpm.
Then speed up again. I don't know where the problem is.
