ZaZ Tools / CSM 1.27c by ZaZ [released - 24/01/14]

i recently asked ZaZ (Ronald) to create a new installer for CSM where all of the updates which came with the online updater, are included. well, he did so an here you go:

Update 18/10/2021: ZaZ fixed an issue with the gp4.exe patching process (patch.ini). The fix is now included in version 1.27b.

Update 14/01/2024: ZaZ fixed an issue with the PreExecute-variable. The fix is now included in version 1.27c.

Sorry for the excessive amount of messages. Around the time the forum broke down I tried to post a message but the forum kept locking up.
So I tried a lot of times and figured once it worked I would edit my message, but didn't succeed.
I did not realize the messages did come through, so that's why there's a lot of nonsense messages.

The last real release did not contain the latest files which contain quite some bugfixes. In the old days when the server was still online the auto updater would download the latest files, but that has been offline for years now.
So Carl_gpgames contacted me and sent me the latest files with the request to rebuild the installer, which I did and that's about it.

I've changed my laptop months ago and the new one uses Windows 10 ( the previous one was XP ). Since there, I've had difficulties with the easywad and slimtex which don't work with the message " no writing privileges".
I don't have an idea on how to fix it, any help would be most welcome.

i guess he just didn't rename it in the program itself, in the installer it says 1.27.

personally, i never had any issues with GP4 and ZaZ Tools on Win10. you can try to not install it to C:\Program Files. Instead, to any other folder in C:\ (C:\ZaZ Tools for example).
Else, you could try to add an exception to windows firewall.

Version 1.27b is now available, containing a new fix by ZaZ.

Now also the version number shows up in the program itself:
