Any solution to this problem? I got the same issue on every track.

Just run the lower resolution textures?

Also make sure the "use compressed textures" is set to on - I found a huge PO spike when I turned that off.

I try it, but I think this problem has to do with the new accurate circuit graphics. For now its not really playable. This mod is to heavy, has to many things that I don't need, like the 2020 Mod which had always CTD's.

I'm looking for a 2021 CSM "Laptop Mod" that includes:

Starting Grid Cars
all 2021 cars, plus a Jaguar fantasy team / or Martini Porsche as Team 11
all Helmets
all pitcrews
new tyres and steering wheels
that's it. I'm sure the game will run then.

I started to build my own CSM Mod. Getting liveries into the game is easy but I have problems to install the tyres, copy the files into my Mod/Tyres folder. TeamEditor 3.5 works not correctly, I get always an error message: GP4.exe is not correct...
trying now GP4Tweaker, put all correct tyre positions and front and rear wing into it. But I don't have any tweaker positions for the helmets and the steering wheels for each car / team. Where can I find this data? Thanks for help :)

Take the original MOD and chop out what you don’t want , keeping what you need. Forget about team editor, to make a MOD like this one made by Carl, you have to work on all the files and folders one by one and all are connected in some way. That’s why I think you should start with the full MOD

This didn't fix anything. Still blackness except the track.

the mod is fine, your settings are not.
try to lower the texels for shadows and set mip maps to 4.

Thanks for your suggestions, but this didn't fix the issue. I tried every setting, but still blackness.

Also the Driver names are all wrong. The Mod is using the names from the original Game (Hakkinen, Couthard, Barrichelo, and so on).

Every other Mod I am using, is working without any problems.

Really strange.

Buongiorno a tutti, dove si possono scaricare altri tracciati (piste) per GP4?

Hey guys, thanks for doing all this. I'm sure the mod is as amazing as all the others, unfortunately I can't get it to work at all. I can load up the game and get into the menus using CSM, but it crashes to desktop on the load screen every time I try to load into a race. I have tried a clean install of GP4 and the same thing happens. Any ideas what could be going wrong? Thanks

Edit: Nvm got it working now, just a bit of noobitis kicking in.

Thank you Carl for sharing the continued previews on the F1 2021 mod.
Geoff's old game is very good, but the community of guys like you (and a tireless group of people who seek to continue discovering the secrets of GP4), is what keeps him alive.

Thanks for this excellent mod.
I have only one problem, when the cars spun off the track they don't seem to able to come back on track.
They just give full trottle but do not move.
The resut is that they wil pushed away from the marshals, and are out off the race.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thank you for your feedback.
I have noted that issue as well. It's seems the CC cars don't clutch in properly in some cases (when the car comes to a full stop) and therefore the power is not transfered to the wheels. I'm working on it and hope i can provide a fix within the next update.

Alright I've finally got everything working really well now....and all I can say is wow, this mod is incredible! A big thank you to everyone who worked on this. Maxing everything out you really get to appreciate the effort and expertise that was required to replicate these 2021 cars in such detail, I honestly never imagined they would look that good. Even the track-specific alterations like the McLaren Gulf livery at Monaco....exquisite. Do Codemasters even do that for the official games?

Just a couple of minor issues I've still got..

1. I'm noticing a little bit of screen tearing, any way to remedy that?
2. Apologies this one's really noob but how do I raise the ride height? I can hear the underside of the car scraping the ground a bit whenever I put the hammer down on straight sections.

But yeah hats off to you guys. Not sure how I feel about freeloading all this amazing content others work hard to create whilst contributing nothing at all in return. If this was official DLC for one of my favourite games I wouldn't hesitate to pay for it and I would not have been disappointed in the slightest. Is there a gofundme page or something where we can chip in a few quid for your efforts? Thanks again (B)

I got an issue with the latest CSM version, because my antivirus software didn't like it. The mod wouldn't load nor restore properly.

After I added exceptions to csm.exe and csmcore.exe (from the ZaZ Tools installation folder), and everything went back to normal. So it's something that could be useful for anyone having problems.
