I disagree, unfair towards those that srill make an effort to post. Keep them in their seats to easen the workload, but the perf penalty should be given.

Oh absolutely still apply the penalties but leave them in the seats. I think we have to do whatever it takes to get to the end of the season and reward those that are still showing up.

Either way it would be good to make a decision prior to the final race of S15 so we can have a proper 'farewell'.

My only other suggestion is that we could perhaps have a one-off farewell race with some of the famous cars/teams/drivers from the last 15 seasons. - although that might be a bit self indulgent for me to suggest with my record haha.

I'll be around if S16 happens, but then we'll obviously have to change the way the game works.

Lack of interest isn't the issue concerning a S16. The problem is lack of people to run things. For a while now there's always been 1 person running the vast majority of races. First Stu, then Greg, then Glen, then I. This season has been dragging on for almost 2 years now. Ideally it was supposed to be completed in 1 year at most, preferably less. I put in a lot of work to have the mod set up in a way that makes it easy to apply driver changes. And with video coverages on YouTube I drastically decreased the time and work required for me to run a race, compared to the screenshot coverage before. I had planned to RD the majority of races this season again, but after the witch hunt following round 1 I had no more desire or will to help out in any way. Unless someone is willing to step up and run races regularly (ideally more than 1 person), I simply don't see a S16 happening.

If we can gather 4 RD before the season, we may be able to schedule those races, one per month per example.

I can help with running 3 to 4 races each season, my only problem is if those races are one after the other

This is unfortunately a lot of the problem. It has changed, mood-wise, considerably around here in the time that I have been dipping in and out and that makes people only less willing to do anything. But as you say, the main problem is that there are very few people with the ability, or tools, to run the races.

I'd argue that the culprit is, thankfully, gone, though.

Yep, that witch hunt made big damage to the league for too much time and drastically put most of the fun out of it. Still, I hope we can survive it.
I'm in for a season 16 if we go that route. Count me in.

I'm definitely in for a season 16.
In the "off-season" I will see if I can get my PC and GP4 setup the right way, so I'll may be able to run some races as well!
