GPGSL S15 - R14: British Grand Prix - Silverstone

Posted by GPGSL
Always nice to see the championship up again. :-)

Not the best race ever to be honest, but expectations weren't too high, being unboosted and all. Monza should be interesting with everybody chucking whatever power they are still holding on to.

Thanks to everybody involved in shocking this thing back to life. I'll try to get the check done as early as possible so that everything can be set up asap.

Assuming S16 is happening, I'd be in need of a new driver since Glen retired. Anyone interested drop me a pm

Do you want to lure me out of retirement?!

I still visit this page daily, check this thread etc…. So, up to you. If you want me, take me ! LOL.
My perf is reasonably good, so I am a half decent asset to a new team.

Yep, I am back if you want me back.

First my condolences to Aritra for the loss of his father that past away some weeks ago, hope you are well my friend, love Marcus.

And for the race...I'll take 2nd place anytime, this was my best race of this season and almost a win at my home grandprix. But that Matra was to fast and overtook me in the last lap, well done mate.

We took some great points for the team and myself. So we are gone from last place and I'm in the middle of the driverstandings, could have been worse. I'm very very glad with the result.

And thanks for this very nice coverage of the Belgium Grandprix... well done and much appreciated...

See you all at Monza gentlemen,

Greetings from Belgium,

Marcus

good to see the race, many thanks for that
is it worth requesting Aston team boosts for the end of the season or not in my power to do so?
Thanks for the race. Not the easiest weekend. That team could not find the optimal settings for the machine. But one point in the race is a consolation.
Thanks a lot for your kind words Marcus.

Yup that was a good race, and I have been slowly getting back to normal.
My professional life is keeping me too busy these days.

Kimi forever!
Not the result we wanted after a good qualifying. Hoping Monza will be better.

Well, that's a huge disappointment, having a DNF from third on the grid :( Moving on to the next race.

Btw, I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of your father, Aritra - sending condolences your way <3

P.S. Sorry for sending the boost 90 minutes after the deadline, I've only just seen the thread and that it was run last week

Happy to have you, especially considering the lack of replies both here and to pms. Feels like job hunting again, send out stuff, get ignored.
Another disappointing result for us

Already done.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Good result for us, maybe we can be even better in italy

So just as a heads up, considering our current situation.

I have been checking back for the last few days, because the first run of the activity check had a lot of absentees, for obvious reasons. Some of which have slowly shown up (and were ticked accordingly) but we are still missing 6 people.

I'll post it maybe tomorrow, as I don't think it'll be fair to the people that did post that I wait any longer than this, but I did want to give a heads up as the perfs will need hefty updating.

I think we just ignore the inactivity and get to the end of the season.

If next season goes ahead then penalize them appropriately at the first race.

Could be an idea.
Move on, don't slow down the process, everybody wants this season to go to its end very soon.

Saves me a lot of work so I'm fine with that

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
I agree with that approach too
