Nice lap by Ed!

I'm having major issues with my PO values being way too high when attempting to run the race (qualifying has been run, however I don't want to upload the coverage for it till after I get this issue fixed up). It seems to happen only when I'm using DxTory. Is there anything I could do to try and get the PO values back to where they should be?

Use something else, like bandicam, fraps or a default F11 button for taking screens. Having a thousand of screenshots with DxTory a time consuming matter anyway, I guess.

Fraps never worked out for me, and using F11 for screenshots didn't work out either (only gave me 150 screenshots saved when I know for sure I had more than that taken all up).

Probably best someone else take over RD duties if Greg is having problems. No need to delay things due to IT problems....

I can RD this round IF required, but i honestly dont think i would be able to have a race coverage posted until mid/late next week (as the worst case).
Just ran a qual session and took pics, and am now going to run a race whilst having my afternoon beer and lunch :)

BUT, if someone else wants to throw their hat in the ring and RD this one, go for it. If i RD this round, someone else can do Rd3 at Monza....

Resize textures. Car textures to dxt5, cp to dxt5 plus 1024x1024, tyres to dxt5. That should do it.

Some mods
F1 1996 | F1 2002 | F1 2007 | F1 2011 | F1 2013 | F1 2015 | F1 2018

I give up. No matter what I do I still get really high PO values. I don't know for sure if it is because of the track or because of the mod since I had no issues with the free practice for the testers and the qualifying session for the race drivers. I'll decide on the next round I'll RD in the coming weeks since I believe someone else has chosen the next round for RD duties.

Edit: I just saw the post from Tobias. I'll give that a try and see if it improves things on my end.

That worked out for me. I can now go ahead with posting the qualifying session. Coverage to be up within the next few hours, then the first part of the race to be up within the next few days.

GPGSL Rd 2 Malaysian GP – Qualifying

Hello once again. We are now set for the start of qualifying to determine who our pole sitter will be for the race. Without further ado let’s head trackside as the cars can be heard getting ready for the start of the session.

Weather Report

Here we are waiting in anticipation to see who the first driver out for group 1 will be.

It is McClure in the MM Motorsports who is first out.

McClure sets the initial time of the session.

Soutsen in the second MM Motorsports goes quicker.

Russell sets a high 1min35s to go fastest. This time could end up being difficult to beat depending on how the weather turns out.

O’Neill goes slowest so far.

It’s a top 3 position so far for Scala.

Buitenhuis gets the closest to Russell’s time.

It’s 6th currently for Vilela.

Now it is Worseling who has the slowest time of the session.

Rodriguez ties with Soutsen’s time.

Silva puts in a good time and moves into 3rd.

Sakata sets his time to put himself inside the top 10.

Elleker is the first driver out for group 2.

Elleker goes way slower than all of the times set by group 1. This is not a good sign for the rest of the drivers in the second group.

De Bruyker doesn’t fare any better.

Warrington somehow manages to go fastest currently for group 2.

Not much Keranen can do with the rain playing havoc.

Beggani manages to set a decent time.

Pedersen has the slowest time of the session so far.

Gilson sets his time and slots into 16th.

Kederer goes 14th fastest.

Greidanus, Jalving and Hinz take the final positions.

Sakata is out first this time for group 1. Only time will tell if the weather will improve and allow for some improvements.

It doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing improvements.

Elleker manages to get an improvement. Could that mean the weather has improved enough?

Warrington comes out first for group 2.

It looks like the improvement of the weather was just false hope for the remaining drivers.

With no more improvements having been made these are the final standings.

Congratulations Luke Russell and Christel on taking pole position for the race. They got extremely lucky here today thanks in part to the weather, however whether or not that luck will be with them for the race as well still remains to be seen. Be sure to join us again next time when we bring you the coverage of the race.
