SEASON 13 OFFICIAL TRACK VOTING NOW OPEN!!!!

The track voting is now open for Season 13. In addition to the 8 fixed venues as per the rules, all ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS can now vote the remaining 6 tracks from an exclusive list posted below.
Every participant in the series has the right to 5 votes. Every track can only be voted ONCE. Less than 5 tracks can be voted, however vote PMs with more than 5 tracks WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Equally, votes from others but active GPGSL participants will not be considered.
Your votes must be sent to GPGSL and marked 'Participant Name - Track Voting S13'. Only votes sent there will be considered. There will only be ONE venue per country.

***The track voting will close in coming weeks, with a FIRM DEADLINE to be posted with at least 7 days notice before cut off. Cutoff will be soon after completion of Season 12......

Christel Racing confirm Season 13 Lineup

I am pleased to announce that we have signed Ryouichi Sakata (Darksoul) to race at Christel next year. Coming back to the GPGSL was definitely the right thing to do and we have made good progress as a team. Luke has blossomed over the season and Micheal has done a great job as well. Signing Ryouichi gave us the chance to promote yet another exciting talent. Hopefully we have another Micheal Pedersen or Jack Elleker on our hands.

Christel Racing Season 13 Lineup:

Driver 1 : Luke Russell
Driver 2 : Ryouichi Sakata

We have a test seat available for other interested parties and I will fill the second seat myself.

Picked a Japanese driver as there has not been any before, and I do not want to race under my own name. Helmet file will be send this weekend.

Activity check!!

Last check of the season I believe? Though we'd really appreciate if you guys stick around for the finale, definitely more exciting stuff than the Spanish GP. Anyway, we sadly lost our trail of zero absences this time, and the offenders are as follows:

Jack Elleker (AMR): Last posted on April 9 (1st Warning)
Aritra Majumdar (Tyrant): Last posted on April 8 (1st Warning)
Connor Steer (M.M. Motorsports): Last posted on April 7 (1st Warning)
James Peters (M.M. Motorsports): Last posted on April 9 (2nd Warning)
Luke Russell (Christel VXR): Last posted on April 9 (1st Warning)

A clarification, since some of the drivers of the list have indeed posted after last round, but failed to did so after the cut. The cut is done two full days after the tables are posted and the round is deemed finished. So in the previous round (Monza) the tables were posted on April 10, so we wait until the end of April 10, plus two days, puts the cut in April 12 for R12 and starts the posting period for R13 (Silverstone). Then the tables for R13 got posted on May 5, following the same method, that puts the cut for R13 on May 7. In summary, the posts taken into account range from April 12 to May 7.

Now that that's cleared up, let's go to the Rubendrome!

And the post above brings me to the idea I had, a sort of leniency period for some drivers like Majumdar or Russell that barely missed the cut and still posted their comments about the race. That can be discussed later, and whether that is going to be applied here, I'll leave it to the senior members of the board. I admit I bluntly applied the rules as they were agreed a couple of seasons ago, and explained my reasoning well in the post. But for any appeals, do let us know.

Since the time the tables are posted varies, I'd just say make it 5 days after the race results for next season. They're always straight after the race, so it's straight forward.

I'd even spoke to the my team manager regarding the following race, put my boost in for the final race and done the vote for S13s tracks within the timeframe!
