GPGSL S11: R14 Flevoland GP [VACANCIES, join now!!! || R13 QUAL online p.157, RACE p.158!!!]

Posted by GPGSL
It's certainly a difficult situation to manage as it is very hard to engineer an exact set of results. I think we do want a variety of teams competing, but also some level of narrative as opposed to completely random results. I think at the moment it is fairly good although perhaps sometimes at little bit too random.

As for my team, since I haven't been online the past couple of days - disappointing result on the whole, the underlying pace wasn't great in the car yet, but Alessandro did a great job to have the car running very well before the incidents.

Looking forward to Sepang, hopefully GPGSL organisers can negotiate a new contract with the track in the wake of F1 dropping off the calendar!

Is anyone doing the points tables?

Led to believe they are coming soon, very soon.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
I have a question. In the feature race I am shown finishing in 12th position, yet in the drivers table I am shown a finishing in 13th place.
Can someone explain the discrepancy if there is one?

Ancevski and Ana are listed in the results - 1 driver isn't in the series anymore and the other one doesn't get Tester points! I am sure this will be a quick fix, and altered...

What happened to the flags for them to look this bad?
Nvm, seem to remember you previously said it was down to an older Excel version.

@Glen
R13 = GBR
R14 = NED

Testers don't move up if a main driver wins, means no 1st place in the stadings. It starts with you in 2nd.

Testers table is completely off, even has a not participating driver (Vimal).

Spelling, it's Sean O'Neill.

Hide the columns for R15-R18, looks bad having the 4 '0' displayed.

Increase the width for columns with the teamname, MTP is cut off.

Driver table needs sorting, Daly in 19th with 1pt. Also missing bold for PP.

Put a Ret for drivers who retired, else it'll falsify countbacks.

I recommend imgur for picture hosting, photobucket auto-resizes and kills quality.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there are two mistakes --at least-- in the testers standings :

- Race drivers don't score points but their points don't go for their follower (so Carlos Rodriguez doesn't score points for his win and Glenn Sheppard, 2nd, should have 12 pts. And so on for all the followers)
- Most places gained should score 1 point if I'm not mistaken, so Giovanna Michail should have 1 Pt

Most places gained is only for the race drivers, same as pole position.

All points noted - re the flags - not sure: this WAS resolved a few months back, as i reverted to an original copy of the tables, which even right now, look fine! These results will be transferred onto that original, again.... I also think my old version of Excel may be having some issues with all the flags?

It's strange really, I've used these tables for a whole bunch of personal seasons as well, never experienced this kind of issue (on Excel 2010 here).

2007 here - and strangely, i just copied a flag icon directly from the reference sheet, to the results and it looks 100% perfect. Think i will be ironing out the chinks in these sheets for future postings. Very odd.

Yes you're right, that wasn't clear for me in the rules.

Also, if Daly McClure has 1 point (pole position) he should be 13th in the racers standings. (sorry Carlos again)

Side note, 3rd Aussie GP win for both Gilson and SCR, both being the only driver/team having won the GP multiple times.
