Montreal : GP4 Hotlap Competition

Question.... does FPS affect the lap time???? powerhorse´s lap seems much quicker than Jim Bob´s, and even so he is 3 tenths off Bob´s lap time!!!!

I checked Jim Bob´s lap, and he is runing at 37 FPS (we run at 26FPS generally)!!!! I think somehow it´s affecting the lap times.... but I´m not sure!!!!

i am running at 26 fps.

do you know what the funny thing is,

my lap is much more like a 'real' f1 qualy lap. if you watch it, i take the corners well and apex nice and clean just like the real F1 drivers do.

but when you watch jimbobs lap, his lap is untidy and does not look good, yet he is 2 tenths faster than me!!!!


if mine and his laps were produced exactly the same in real life mine would be faster. becuase you hear the f1 drivers talk about how important it is to keep a fast clean lap.

and before anyone says it, my lap is clean but i am also fast. i know sometimes if you are ragged you can be faster, but in reality that is not the case.

sure.... I know what you mean powerhorse.... i.e. Jim Bob takes the hearping totally wrong.... it´s rediculous....

but still, I wanna know, FPS affects or does not affect lap times????

wuhuuuuuuuuuuu 9 place for me.. not bad for first time with this profesional hot lapers.. i´m using 12 fps.. and run as hell

i got it...... he is cheating... take it off!!! that it... hehehe 1:12 man.. i just got down to 1:14:5xx and i have my glasses off braking ass in that lap. hehehe!!! he is alex yoong and real drivers can compite here.... take off his time

Llegue a meter 1. 14 550. (sin robar en la ultima chicana) eso implica que al menos dos de mis ruedas tuvieron siempre contacto con la pista.

My top speed at the end of final casino straight is about 326 km/h. I did
1. 14. 550 with a clear pass at the last chicane that means two of my wheels always has contact with the track. If I cheat on this I will make 1.13 high
If you have a steering you will probably get a 1.13 lower time. There is a diference of one or one and a half second between keys and a steering wheel

I done a 1:14.270 earlier today which i am really happy with as i am using a joystick. I'm sure i can get into the 1m 13's if i try a bit harder.
