Powerhorse could you please email me your setup as i can only manage a 1:15:300 at the moment (with joystick) with default setup and i badly want to get into the 1:14's, with a good setup i think i could easily do that.

cheers

Steve

ive just manged to improve my time by 0.008 after a long time of trying, now with only auto gears on. i have been 4 tenths quicker in the first sector before so my 1.14.812 can certainly be reduced, so im now aiming fo 1:14.5xx or quicker, ill have to look at some of your 1.12.xxx laps as i cannot see how it is possible to go more than 2 seconds quicker than i have. what top speeds are you getting (in mph please)? i get to 201 down the back straight but only right at the end.

in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, in practice, there is.

............ i still dont get it, i have looked at those laps and i still dont fully understand where the time is coming from, certainly jim_bobs, i cant see at all where he is making up so much time. i can see where ville is making up some time, about 1-1.5 s maybe but not 2.5. i now know that i lose a lot of time in turns 3 and 4, and also the final chicane but 2.5s .............
ive only improved 2.3s since my first lap on the track, so finding another load just seems impossible ............ sorry if i go on a bit im just dumbfounded by these times.

they use steering wheel man.. dont get sad!! i was like that 2 days ago. the problem is not the speed.. the problem is the 3 first corner

because if you dont go on the "optimum line" the auto brake slows you down until you get back on the optimum line. its crap.

Steering wheel is the best way to go, then you can go where ever the hell
you feel like on the track.

don´t use autobrake man, even if you keep the car on the optimum line, the car starts braking very very early....
