no, car power team dependent just means that your car will have the power of the team you choose!!!!

i.e.: if you choose Ferrari, of course your car will be more powerfull (faster) than if you had choosen Minardi!!!!

I think its very important that we all know the rules from the "off" so to speak, saves a lot of time and "Relapping" - and more blisters:)

Thus, from Korn_freaks Website the rules read:

GP4 is to be patched to v1.02 (9.6)

1) No editing of grip levels, engine power etc.

2) This performance file is to be used in GPxPatch.

3) Names can be changed not settings.

4) Car power team dependant is to remain "unchecked"

5) Physics is also to be "unchecked

6) Your hot lap must be saved and uploaded to This Site. ".

So Orpheus, car power team dependent MUST be OFF yes?

BTW Korn_freak, you said "Your hot lap must be saved and uploaded to this site. . So does that mean I finish higher than 8th:)?

With the ever increase in technology, the word "impossible" should be used with caution - if at all

yes the people that only have sent there hotlaps in to be downloaded will get points.

so i will get points for 3rd, not 4th because chunter did not send in his lap and vice versa.

korn, are you going to put a championship points table on the site?

cheers.

I have done it powerhorse :) and yes you are right about the points.

also remeber points are DEDUCTED for each driving aid enabled.

but for keyboard users no points deducted for steering help!

i think points should only be for the top 6 or 8 as there isnt that many in it yet.
and maybe time penaltys instead of point reductions, so then we can run to much hp, to much grip, 1.00 version etc. just need to work out what each 'cheat' is worth in time.

anyway first tim is in:

32.305
59.587
1:20.607

so, try and keep 5-10 seconds ahead of that and you'll have a chance ;)

Current Montreal Situation:
1 - b-tone 1:20.607
2 - ?

:) i'm winning!! :)

i dont really like that idea b-tone. i feel that everyone should have the
same grip level same horsepower to keep it more realistic and as the grip
level and horsepower level can be changed to many different variables
it would be HARD to do.

but good suggestion though.

championship points added to website and other small updates to.

thanks powerhorse :) im loving it to haha

the sites looking pretty good Korn; how about we upload our setups for others to use also?
and i think those that dont send in hotlaps should be dqed. the more here the merrier. maybe just relegate them behind those that send laps or penalise them (some seconds??) - basically i'm not comfartable getting 8th(?) with my pitiful attempt at monaco ;):(

spent the best part of 3hrs on and off.......using a wheel(only had 2 weeks)

intermediate 1: 29.554
intermediate 2: 56.031

Final: 1.16.762 .......and once again fiddling with set-up would be faster by .5-1.0secs.

CHEERS.

ill email you my set up ok and that is a good idea. though that means more things people have to send in.

Also i wont be accepting laps that people post in the forum anymore. to get into the leaderboard you have to post me your hotlap.

I only accepted laps from the forum for monaco because it was started in the forum. thats all. so from now on they wont be accepted.

ill email you my setup and u can give that a worl its a great setup car is very balanced and fast :D
