I found some interesting new source for a crash. Do you happen to have 3 videocards? (they might be reported in gconfig.txt in the GP4 folder). As far as I can see, GP4 crashes if you have more than 2. Fortunately I can fix this bug.

I have 3 monitors hooked up, but only one graphics card.

Okay, so I tried out the updated version and...... success. I loaded game up fine and loaded into race, did few laps and closed it. Everything was good, so far. I'll try and do an actually race at some point soon and report back.

I have 3 monitors and I can't play. I have to disconnect one of them to play...And the same, 3 monitors to a one graphic card (gtx970)
And since I have windows 10 I can't play in full screen, only inn windowed mode

Sounds like my same setup I also have gtx 970 (with 3 monitors). Maybe SDI can give you link to same version see if resolves your problem.

Finally GP4 works, but the ZAZ tools do not work. It says "Install Dirext8 or higher Else this program won't run". I tried to install Directx8 and 9c, but Windows says that it has a higher verison already installed.

Can someone help me?

Just reinstall ZAZ tools. Then it will work.

How about using the FAQ ?
I created a tutorial how to install zaz tool on windows 10.

I did it exactly as it is written in the FAQ (four times by the way), but it will not work. It says "Install Dirext8 or higher Else this program won't run" everytime

I will say you didnt follow the proper steps i put.

When i made the tutorial those where the exact steps i toke to make Zaz Tool Work.
And the proof is that it works for me is why i can use easywad for track building and editing !!!.
I released under windwos 10 already 14 track updates with it.

Did you Upgrade from Windows 7/8/8.1 to Windows 10, or did you do a clean install? Because my old laptop running the upgrade and my new one with a clean installation of Windows 10. It runs perfecty on the old one but not on the new one.

Csm isn't working here too, same problem, laptop with new windows 10

Edit:Nevermind, It is working now, just download the zaz tools from gp4 central, then put csm and csmcore on compatibility mode with xp service pack 2 and to run as administrator
