It does seem like I lost a place at the pitstop, the team was probable checking the car for possible failures

Being the last driver to make my stop will surely hurt me. I was in position for a points finish (even if it's only for 1pt), now I've no idea where I rejoined after taking my stop.

Fantastic race pace by Chris & Dean! Our pit stop strategy worked also well. Hopefully Dean can sneak a race point and FINALLY a point for most places gained in a race.

Race Day, Part Three

Welcome once again to sunny Dubai where Jack Elleker still leads the United Arab Emirates Grand Prix.


Copeman sticks is car down the inside of Kittleson.


And Copeman comes out on top.


Maverick is getting slightly better performance out of his new tyres than Elleker.


Kittleson is now under pressure from Rodríguez.


But he manages to hold off the One driver.


The pressure must be getting to Kittleson as he locks up.


12th, 13th and 14th close together.


Rodríguez was so busy looking forward at Kittleson he didn't see Silvestre behind.



Kittleson makes another error.


Jalving takes fastest lap.


Thomas takes Kederer for 9th.



3rd, 4th, 5th.


Silvestre takes the last point paying place from Kittleson.


All of Kittleson's earlier work is going down the drain as he seems to be a sitting duck out there.


Van Smirren is another driver struggling on new rubber as O'Brien takes 14th.


Lap 20 let's see who's where.




O'Brien makes short work of Kittleson.



Jalving takes 4th from Pedersen.


Here are the place changes in the top ten.


Kittleson retakes 14th from O'Brien.


We've not seen much of McCarthy for a while, so here he is in 7th.



Warrington has caught Pedersen now.


And passes for 5th position.


In the graphic below, Legge passes Karjalainen.


The Finn tries to fight back.



Kittleson loses yet another place, this time to van Smirren.


2 laps remaining and Maverick has got the gap to lead down to 4.370.

Great recovery drive for Charrel Jalving to take 4th.


Greidanus Grand Prix continue their impressive debut season with 5th for Chris Warrington.

A 4th place and the fastest lap of the race, not so bad! Without the delay at the pitstop I would have made it on the podium, but we had to play it safe!

Big respect to Aston Martin Racing and their 1-2 finish today, they were the team to beat.

Statement Sebastian Nell

Good race by Demon, 3rd place was the absolute maximum today. Can't say I saw them Astons too many times during the race, instantly knew there was no way I'd be able to get even a 2nd place today. Because of this I'm very happy with the result, no mistakes made, car is fast enough and well, we can work on this. Also good drive by Daniel to take 9th place, so a great teamresult today.
