So, between the song contest: Do we have somebody willing to run this round? I really can't do it this time. And is there somebody with a working Donington track?

I've been wondering the same thing. If it comes to it, I'll run the round, but if someone else can be RD then I can always run the next round.

Round 08 - European Grand Prix - Free Practice
Hello and welcome everyone to the free practice session of the 8th round this season, taking place at Donington Park. As in the previous season, the event is hold as European GP, seeing that the British GP traditionally takes place at Silverstone. The first time the GPGSL held a round here was all the way back in season 3, won by Stefan van Renselaar, marking the only win for Alpha Motorsports. Shadow tester Vimal Ana will be in the focus today, he's comfortably leading the testers standings enjoying a 24 points lead over Ruben Greidanus.
Stoddart is the first one to set a time, just going under 1:10. That's more than 3 seconds slower than the times of last year.
Domenech fails to beat his time
Ana easily taking the lead, he shows why he's currently leading the standings
Karjalainen is quite off that time
Michail takes 4th, only just beating Karjalainen's time
Her teamboss Hunsley with the slowest time so far
A strong lap by Worseling puts him in 3rd
Mills takes 4th
Sheppard's time is only good enough for 8th
New fastest lap set by Allington
Steer takes 6th, he'll be looking to continue his points run
Scala's the first one of the second group, he slots in in 8th
Teammate Silva does better, he beats the fastest time of Allington
De Boer with almost exactly the same lap as teammate Worseling
Greidanus takes 5th, unless he improves in his second run he'll lose further ground to Ana
Sanvitale must've had a mistake somewhere
Rookie McClure looks set for another top result in only his second GP
Pellatt seems to be off pace today, only 16th for the Shadow boss
Cremasco takes 12th
Teammate and boss McGregor right behind him in 13th
Hinz sits out of the points in 15th
The last one to complete his first run is Vilela, setting the 3rd fastest time
Second runs are underway, big improvement for Hunsley, jumping from 21st to 3rd
Worseling up 3 spots to 7th
Michail also improves, but it's not enough to put her in the points
Steer takes 7th from Worseling
Sheppard moves up in the points, 11th fastest time for him
9th place for Scala with his second run
Slight improvement for Cremasco, up to 14th
Clean lap for Sanvitale this time, but it's still more than half a second off pace
Pellatt hands the wooden spoon to Karjalainen
Vilela takes 2nd, missing only 14 thousandths to first
Hinz the last one to improve, he takes the last point away from Sheppard
