Name #06=michelin

[TreadTextures]
Team #00=1,0
Team #01=0

Team #05=1
Team #06=1

@Alessio: You need GpxPatch 4.25 BETA before to use this feature. Otherwise, it won't work.
Except this, your performance file is correctly edited....;)

Yes, and also teams 7 to 10 in [TreadTextures] use a dot instead of a comma.

You have to wait until GPxPatch 4.30 is released.

gpxpatch beta 4.25 is not out publicly yet, so users have to wait for version 4.30 to be released :)

Sorry if the textures ready for GpxPatch 4.25 BETA have disturbed some minds. It was just to anticipate the next version of GpxPatch . This is why I wrote into the readme presentation (not released yet).
So, for the moment, just use the files from the 2014 tyres until SDI release the 4.30 version. Thanks ;-)

Thanks for your words Alessio. :-) And yes, there are only five WIPs having access to GPxPatch 4.25 BETA. ;) Fortunately I am one of them! ;-) I hope you can wait until the release of GPxPatch 4.30, the possibility that every car can use its own tyres is really a great feature. ;-)

Well, I think people around here have already made something like GP5, on base of GP4 of course. ;) I can't imagine GP4 with only 17 tracks, only the 22 original 2001 cars and no cars from other years or own cars, without GPxPatch, without performance files, without mods and so on. I should have joined this community much earlier. (Y)

It is true & with the beautiful mods, tracks & editors you folks all contribute
to the community I agree with TGF1Driver that you folks
have in reality provided us with GP5++ on steroids :-)

Thank You all for your great works! (B) (Y)

Hi guys,

I'm currently using a 2014 mod from GP4 forever.

Can I use these tyres?
Does this mod mean the correct tyres are used when each compound is on the car (hard or soft) or is it still one graphical tyre per race?

I'm guessing the correct tyre compounds are used at each race weekend? How do you set this up?

Thanks for the help.

Currently Excalibur's tyres are not automatically selected for the actual tyre compound. If I understand correctly the reason is that GP4 doesn't have 4 dry weather tyre compounds (hard, medium, soft, supersoft). Another problem is that you need a special wheel shape to map the tread texture onto the whole tyre. This should match with the tread and wheel textures.

So this means you have to manually assign the correct tyre brand (in this case it is used for the compound) to each car in the performance text file. This is explained in the GPxSet documentation.

Hi, can someone help. I don't have a performance file. I have the gpx patch 4.30. But the tires look all weird and out of place.
I would appreciate any help.
