Hi,

i have a question: How can i change the names of the circuits in the menu? I managed it to change the names in the list where I can choose the circuit where i want to race, but before i start the race in the "grid-menu" the old track-names are standing there ...

Thank you very much!

If you use the latest GPxTrack all menu strings are correct.

Thank you very much!

Not all menu strings are correct now, some are written small (them are correct) but for example my Singapur track ist not correct (only in the first menu ....)
Is it possible to edit the GPxTrack?

Did you add an "adjective" tag to GP4INFO?

Sorry for my stupid questions and my bad english!
But what do you mean whith add an adjective tag to gp4info? Is that the file "adjective" in the gpxpdata folder?

At the moment the tracks singapur, monza and spa do not work in the menu, the others work ....

GPxTrack takes the name of the track from two places.

Firstly, it might be inside the track's .dat file. This is called GP4Info. The easiest way to edit this is using GP4 Builder.

1) Open the .dat file using GP4 Builder.
2) Double-click on "Track Sectors". Click "Initial Sector".
3) Click "Show GP4 Infos Data" in the box that appeared.
4) Edit the "Name" and "Country" how you wish.

Alternatively you can use a settings.ini file within the same folder as the track's .dat and .wad files. (Actually the filename can be anything as long as the extension is .ini).

tom, thank you very much! now it is working!
now all the strings are written small, thats looking a little bit strange, because the other menu strings are written with a capital letter at the beginning, but it's ok!

Thanks all!

I convert it to lowercase because the original track names in the menu are also lowercase.
