GPxTrack takes the name of the track from two places.
Firstly, it might be inside the track's
.dat file. This is called GP4Info. The easiest way to edit this is using GP4 Builder.
1) Open the .dat file using GP4 Builder.
2) Double-click on "Track Sectors". Click "Initial Sector".
3) Click "Show GP4 Infos Data" in the box that appeared.
4) Edit the "Name" and "Country" how you wish.
Alternatively you can use a
settings.ini file within the same folder as the track's .dat and .wad files. (Actually the filename can be anything as long as the extension is
.ini).
