I say we give up Dijon and host next GP (after the US one) in a different french venue. Put three options and we'll have a quick poll. Say, Magny-Cours, Paul Ricard old, and a variant of the new one. Thingy. :-)

I tried the 1.0 version (the latest I guess) and noticed that the pitlane entrance isn't really well placed and the cars that are stopping tend to brake too much and slow down who is staying on track. there's another bug with the chicane in the pitlane as every car runs in the wall before reaching the boxes. A minor issue is with the cc-line (cars braking in mid corners), but I solved it by making one from scratch. Yet I don't know how to solve the pit entrance problem

I like this idea. If the Dijon track is going to cause too many headaches, go to a vote on a replacement venue, with the French race to be slotted in "somewhere" later in the season. Problems solved.
Le Mans, Paul Ricard, or Magny Cours.....

I'm fine with whichever track we'll be using next.

Not Magny Cours for the French GP. I found the race to be quite boring when I was the RD for that race last season, and there's still the problems with graphics in the '08 version (unless it's been fixed since then). I wouldn't mind the Le Mans track that was used a few seasons back, the one where the race screens had the French making appearances. Still, I agree with a poll to decide Dijon's replacement should it come to that.

Chill out guys.

We go to Road America as planned.

Wipe the French GP from the calendar, simple.

It ain't that much work, you're right, but I'm tired to change the track order with every new round.

I want to know now when the Dijon GP is being held or that the track is being cancelled on the calendar.

For the moment, Dijon is put down the list to host round 16, as the new calender on page 118 shows. If you can and are motivated enough to fix it completely since then, it will be used for round 16. Otherwise we will use the remaining time to find a replacement for Dijon until then.

Generally I suggest that for next season's calender, we make a list of tracks which work without bugs and problems. Then we create a trackpack with those tracks and only tracks from this pack can be voted for the new calender. We've had at least 1-2 tracks every season now where such problems occurred and in this regard I agree with Ruben that it starts to get annoying.

For now we leave Dijon at round 16, nicely placed between the German and British GPs and resume the calendar as we have up to now. That will give us plenty of time to look at Dijon and test Matteo's fix. It will give us plenty of time to vote for a replacement if needs be.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

Don't get me wrong, I only made a new ccline that makes cars behave better around some corners. For the pitlane I guess the cause may be the short entrance or its placement on track.

Never knew Road America is an indoor-track...

Very late to the party but you called for me? ;-)

My lack of comment on the race is the only real response I can give to that weekend...

I thought that someone already did before the start of current season, or was only a list of available circuits for GP4?

The Demon Racing team meeting was basically this : how many other teams will use boost, and will we see a repeat of the BOOST-FEST we saw at Montreal?? Everyone seemed to think the same thing, and use team and personal boosts, so.... what the hell do we do this time??!! LOL

I'm sure the same conversation goes on across the entire paddock...every race...every season. ;)
