Kyalami is on hold. In testing the problem with one of the corners, I have also discovered a massive problem with the pit lane entrance. The chicane is far too tight and is causing some cars to stop and hold up everyone else entering the pits, or even worse, crash and lose wheels and retiring.

I think we need to maybe change circuits, but that also causes problems with team and driver boosts. The other alternative is to move onto the next round and open the boost window again and then add in another circuit later in the season.

Let the discussion begin :)

I can reconstruct the pit entrance, but this will be on Monday.

I don't have a problem with this...

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

That works for me Stu.

It's a smart, sensible decision.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
If a fix can't be worked out quickly, so that the race doesn't trouble Stu's and Ruben's life too much, then I believe it's better to skip it and re-add it later, with a fixed circuit or another version.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Update of the race drivers mod on the first page.

It's the GPGSL's version of Indy '05!

Seems to make sense to move on and skip Kyalami as long as it makes problems. So you can put it in, when it's finished.
There should be no complaining about it, coz it doesn't make any difference in the end...

As a team owner, i am happy to do both options - happy to have this Kyalami track sorted out, regardless of any delay, AND also happy if we move to the next track and come back to Kyalami later in the season....
Obviously though, people have planned boost use for Kyalami, so..... if going to another track, we need to re-open a "fresh" window to apply for boost - OR just go to a new track with NOBODY using any boost, just to speed up the season a touch?

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Wow, that render of the VSM looks very nice!

Personally I'd swap Jerez and Kyalami, giving the extra leeway needed to fix the pit exit for the latter. Then we'd just use the perfs listed a few pages ago as the perfs for Jerez instead of Kyalami - if it was a track where the weather was different to Kyalami (such as Sepang with 75%), I'dve said reset the boost window. As both Jerez and Kyalami are 19% weather probability, it would save time using those perfs imo.

I think we should just stop with the boosts system :-D
