What the hell happened, 19th and 20th time for the One's... we really gonna floor the cars or its all over before it starts...

Ok guys, I'm still testing the mod. There seems to be a bug in gpxpatch that sometimes allows the cars to do more than 6 laps in qualifying. It worked fine with the test mod, but the race mod is having none of it so far. Ruben has also tried and is getting similar results, the problem has been reported to SDI. If I can't get it to work, I will have to run qualy and stop it after all cars have done 6 laps, then edit the perf to get the required starting grid. Sorry for the delay.

I found a way around this problem. If you want, I can run the race. All I need is a copy of the Suzuka track being used. Unless you still insist on running the race.

F1 1996 | F1 2002 | F1 2007 | F1 2011 | F1 2013 | F1 2015 | F1 2018

Well, alright then. The way I managed to get it working is like this:

1. Go into the Mod Folder in GPSaves
2. Go to the GPxPatch Folder
3. Go into Realistic, then the track folder for the round at the time (in this case, Suzuka)
4. Open the GPxSet file, then down where it says SatQuali, it should be: Consecutive cars=10, Fuel Laps=4, Laps=6

After making sure that the file is saved, it should give the right number of laps while still maintaining 11 cars on the track.

Didn't reported the problem yet to SDI, first I want to test it further to localize precisely the cause of the problem. I have a feeling what maybe the cause is and will test it tonight.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

That result made me feel really bad. My self-esteem is crushed. I'm fat, ugly and nobody loves me.

Looking forward to Suzuka, hopefully we do well here and keep our constructors lead.

I found the cause of the problem with the amount of laps in qualifying. When you start the CSM mod normally (Start CSM > Select mod > Start > Start GPx) the cars will do more than 6 laps, but before you start GPxPatch, select "Session settings..." then "OK" so the cars won't drive more than 6 laps. By choosing "Cancel" the cars will do more than 6 laps in qualifying.

I had already tried setting SatQuali Consecutive cars to 10 and FuelLaps to 4. However, I hadn't tried Laps=6, because of the earlier setting of QualifyingLaps=6, but by heck it works! Thanks for that Greg. Right, I will run qualy proper tomorrow, cos I'm all GP4ed out right now!

It seems that the format of the current gpxset.ini is not right anymore with the newest version of GPxPatch, my bad. I will change this for the next update of both mods. Thanks to Greg for the wake up call.

The is a next round preview to the right of that and down the right hand side column are the latest championship standings.
Right at the bottom is a slide show that will scroll through pics from the last round.
Right at the top you can see what the other pages will be in the menu banner
